I am a long term resident of Manhattan, though I have lived in many other cities. There have also been several careers. My various identitiies have included Director of Menswear Design, commercial print model, actor for TV commercials, in vivo therapist with a shortage of paying clients, painter, and writer. My education is as disparate as my work background might seem, with a BA in Art History, an MBA in Marketing, and a multitude of indulgent courses due to a fear of losing any more faculties than I donated in college. My artwork to this point, has made it to a one woman show at a friend's optometrist's shop. (No work or eyewear was sold, but it was well received within a five block radius.) One piece did find it's way to a Maine gallery.

The adventurer inside continues to explore with curiosity, humor, irony, terror, and a hairline edge. Working on this project, I frequently find myself laughing until my topic is on it's fifth rewrite. That's when I start reaching for the gasoline.

I hope you enjoy my personal perspective, come away possibly enlightened, hopefully amused, and maybe feeling some resonance.

My heart is a painter, but I believe images can be created with anything, including emotions, confessions, and words.
